Xperis is the product management and marketing consulting business of Ken Hoffman.

In the past few years I have worked with larger multi-national companies like Microsoft and Gemalto.   I have also worked with small businesses, political organizations and charities.  Xperis.com now focused on supporting my goals in seeking a new position where I can bring my passion and expertise to a new organization.

I am now completing a successful two years under contract with Gemalto, the world’s largest provider of smart card technologies. Beginning May 1st, available for new opportunities either as contractor or full-time position.

I hold dual certifications from the AIPMM in:

• Product Marketing Management

I have a certificate in Software Product Management (SPM) from the University of Washington

I continue to work as a teaching assistant and coach with the U of W on the team that is responsible for the SPM certificate program.

In the past 5 years I have worked with:

• Microsoft Visio Marketing Team
• Microsoft Identity and Access Team (Now Part of the Forefront Brand)
• Gemalto Global Microsoft Alliance Team

Work for these groups included:

• Managing all aspects of the 2006 Microsoft Visio Conference in Seattle, WA
• Ongoing webcast and wewsletter series for partners
• Creation and management of both internal and external marketing web portal systems
• Managing the creation of multimedia marketing tools
• Managing several partner events for Microsoft
• Working on the team tasked with building a new partner ecosystem
• Development of visual and print messaging content
• Day to day partner relationship management
• Presentations to customers and partners including those at the executive level

I have experience with all aspects of the software product cycle from requirements, usability testing and specifications to testing, release and support. 

I have software communations skills related to web portal management systems and graphic design and digital image management software.
